Perfectly Imperfect

I am perfectly imperfect and so are you

No matter what we may have been through.

Addiction, pain, grief, and dont forget the pride

He already knew this was going to be our lives when he died

Guess what he chose to save us anyway

He hung on that old rugged cross

And cried out, “Its finished father”, all is not lost

Now look what it cost

The blood of a perfect being

To give us a chance to live in that everlasting kingdom

So no matter what you do or say

He can bless you anyway

Just ask him to forgive you and come into your heart

And make things new again with a clean start

He changed my life one day

And it can happen for you

For we all are perfectly imperfect

This I know is true
